Water and Matals

On Thursday we went to the science lab and we mixed water with metals such as Magnesium, copper,calsium, zinc,iron. The only one that reacted was calcium unfortunately and by reacting it bubbled and fizzled.

We tested water temperatures with a Bunsen burner and we wanted to see if it would boil and what the temperature would be if it boiled. What we found out was that boiling water is 100 degrees. But our water did no boil because the Bunsen burner was shorter than others but we will learn from our mistake in the future.
